Combustion Surveys & Solutions is a subsidiary of Project Technologies & Services (PTS), based in the Cleveland, Ohio area. PTS developed a specialty in combustion safety, design and engineering and controls upgrade projects by assisting customers in the metals, food & beverage, and general manufacturing industries with capital project management and engineering.
A Need for Combustion Safety Audits
PTS noticed a trend. As we continued to provide manufacturing furnace upgrades, our customers were turning to us for combustion inspections to confirm the upgrade’s compliance with the latest version of NFPA 86. Many of our clients didn’t have the time or expertise to analyze the NFPA 86 code, but knew they would be held to the standard. It became evident after performing audits on dozens of combustion equipment, that there was a widespread need for the service. And that is how the idea for Combustion Surveys & Solutions was formed.
To create time savings and cost efficiencies for our industrial customers, we developed proprietary software in-house that allows our auditors to perform combustion inspections thoroughly and efficiently. This service is provided independently under the Combustion Surveys & Solutions brand in the midwest region and nationwide.
